My Son Needs Guitar Lessons

I bought my son a guitar for his birthday, which he has been bugging me about for a long time now. With it came a beginner’s guitar book. He has gone through the entire book now, and his playing sounds ok to me. He wants to progress or so he has told me and is looking for lessons to learn major blues scale for guitar. But with the economy such as it is, I do not think that is an option. Instead I found a really good web site that breaks this scale down very well. without all the theory which seems to overwhelm him.
