Put something new in its place

Why should I believe construction interfaces are inherently easier or less complex than programming interfaces. These are much more difficult to do in buildings. Instead, I think the real different is incremental improvements. Even so, it’s very clear that planning ahead vastly reduces your costs associated with programming. It would be more correct to say buildings are more rigid than software. You can even tear the interior design software building and put something new in its place - the most extreme form of modification. You can move things around. The use of buildings can and is changeable. Not all software projects fail because of weak specifications, of course, but that mistake does account for a lot of stuff.
