Estate appraisers sold classic oil painting

Art is in the eye of the beholder. My aunt had an old oil painting that I inherited when she died. The painting was a painting of a cow in a field, to me it didn’t look like much. But the estate appraisers who looked at it said it was a rare painting by a great artist. Last month we put the painting up for sale at an auction. I was amazed that the painting went for $45,000. If you ever get in the situation that you have something that may be worth a lot, don’t rely on you own judgement. Call an expert.
