When my mother passed away, I was shocked to discover that she hadn’t planned her funeral. Shocked, because when she was alive, she was the queen of planning! From her days, to her grandkids birthday parties, to her sock drawer, everything was always well planned and well organized. That’s where I get it from. Even though I was sad, as I was shopping for caskets in Texas, I realized that my mom hadn’t planned it, so that I would have something to keep me occupied and to take my mind off my sadness. That was so like her - taking care of everyone else.
