We operated for quite some time at our warehouse without a dedicated pallet scale. We always found some workaround to save us money, even though it was hurting our efficiency. I had gotten a very small loan to help start this company, and I wasn’t profitable to pay too much for upgrades. After a while, though, it became clear we were losing too much in productivity. While looking for the most cost efficient way to increase our productivity, i came across a pallet truck scale. These devices are powered skid lifts with built in scales. I though this was perfect for our needs. It would save us the trouble of buying separate pallet jacks and scale.
