    Curious About Online Reviews

    I’ve been a little curious about online reviews.  I’ve read testimonials, but I don’t know whether I can believe the so-called consumers.  How do I know that they have really purchased the product?  Recently, for instance, I was reading weight loss pill reviews (ok, ok, I have a dress I need to fit into in 2 months).  Some of the review sites seemed like ads rather than “reviews,” and it didn’t seem to me that I could trust what I was reading.  However, it was still easy to find real information about diet pills, including their risks.  This is the kind of information that is helpful, and I wish more reviews had it widely available.
