Religion as your guide to diet

    March 10th, 2010 by admin

You might say that your religion, your belief system, plays a huge role in your body .  The body, for most religions, is the temple, or the house, or the vehicle with which the soul, or spirit resides for a time to play, and do its work.  To some it is of great importance to follow some sort of spiritual diet such as fasting, no meat on certain days, and certainly there are also meat restrictions when it comes to meat variety.  I have never seen any large amount of body fat on an amish person.  Their beliefs about diet and thus their recipes go back centuries and are tried and true for them.
