Want to get your workout over and done with

If you are like most, you are running around town like a chicken with its head cut off. If I want to do a fast workout would there be much more benefit to this approach than there would be if I run on the treadmill for 45 minutes? I have heard that there is a 4 minute workout that really works. Getting in some exercise everyday is crucial for me. It raises my spirits and keeps me going strong and confident. My whole mental attitude is elevated by exercise and if I could do this in just 4 minutes a day, I would love it.
