Diabetes Supplies Company May Offer Perfect Learning Moment

A friend of mine, another nurse, has been a diabetic nurse for quite a number of years. SHe has worked as a diabetes nurse educator, a diabetic care manager, and now she has decided to change her focus from direct patient care to working for a company that provides diabetes supplies. At first I was apprehensive, and wondered why she was making such a change, afraid she would miss the support and education aspects of her job. Then after our last conversation, I realized she had made the change to create a different challenge for herself; now I realize she is still providing eduction and support possibly at a time they need it most
