When you install new ceramic tiles in the bathroom or kitchen you will need to do some cementing or grouting work. There are special tools to use to make sure you do it correctly, such as spacers to separate tiles evenly and grout trowels and floaters. You will be doing something called floating tile mortar, and this is usually done with a trowel that is like a flat rectangle with teeth on one side to spread it evenly. I believe this is what that is called. I know there is another step when all the tile is set, when you fill the grooves in between, then maybe this is when you use the floater, guess I better get some advice.
