Saving Money on My Water Bill

Our water bill seems to have gone way up lately. I think I really need to talk to people about taking shorter showers and turning off the water while they are washing or brushing their teeth. I also need to do something to cut down on the water we use in the yard and the garden. I want to get a water tank so we can collect and use rain water for some of our outdoor needs. I am going to plant things in the garden this year that take less water as well and are more suited to the local climate.
