Buy Single Cards

In the past when I would Buy Magic Cards, I would buy a base set and then buy expansion packs to supplement them. this worked well for me until I got to the point where I had almost everything I wanted. There are only a few cards that I really want now, and they are not common cards. Instead of buying multiple expansion packs and crossing my fingers, I decided to buy single cards instead. So far this method is working well for me, and I have tracked down most of the cards I wanted. I may go back to buying expansions packs when a new set comes out, but not before then.
