Carpeting For Our Son’s Room

We are looking for carpet for my son’s bedroom. My husband wanted to go with Berber but I don’t want to do that. I have always heard that if you have a fire in your house that type of carpet will go up in flames quickly . I don’t want that in a child’s bedroom or anywhere in my house for that matter. I realize that other types of carpet are more expensive, yet that does not matter to me. My family’s safety is my top priority as it would be any parent’s. My husband is concerned about stains as my son is still young. I am willing to pay for carpet with built in stain protection if that’s what he wants. It just won’t be Berber.
