There are two basic types of plant fungicides available on the market today. The first is a contact type fungicides that kills the infestation by contact through the use of powders or sprays directly on and around the plants. The second type of application is systemic which simply means the fungal organism must absorb the fungicide into it’s organic matter, either application can be effective but you must decide which application best fits your needs. One of the first things to assess is the amount of water you are using in your garden and the time of day in which you are doing the watering. Both questions are vital to fungal control.
