The initial step of taking a survey can actually be skipped and given to the call center to help out with as well. Most call centers are fully capable of taking surveys and gathering that information to generate leads. Remember the days of door to door salesman? That process is also a form of lead generation. Though the subject of lead generation is fairly boring, it is in fact beneficial to your company. Lead generation is the difference between having tons of big contracts with rich clients and not having any. Even if lead generation doesn’t gather sales for your company, it does gather information. The information gathered can tell your company what it needs to know about the market or the audience it’s trying to reach. Knowing this information can let your company know what it needs to do differently. And knowing is half the battle.
