    How to Fix a Slow Windows XP Start

    I have been using the same laptop computer for about a year now.  All of my computer nerd friends keep telling me that I need a new computer every six to nine months.  I just didn’t see the need.  I almost did get a new one when my computer started showing signs of a slow xp startup.  I did not want my friends to know what was happening, so I started looking for things to help speed up this operating system.  I found this site that showed me quite a bit of information on things I could do to speed it up.  Some of them were really good and worked really well.
